On-Site Pay Rate:
$200 - $240/day (based on experience) Overview Turn Services is seeking motivated and reliable Deckhands to join our marine operations team in the Greater New Orleans area. This role involves hands-on work aboard vessels and barges, supporting daily operations in a physically demanding and fast-paced maritime environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the marine and transportation industry with strong training and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Perform general deckhand duties aboard vessels and barges Make and break tow safely and efficiently Secure boats and barges Handle lines and rigging operations Stand lookout watches Maintain vessel cleanliness (cleaning, painting, chipping) Assist with basic onboard cooking duties Support minor engine room maintenance (oil changes, greasing, filters) Follow all safety procedures and instructions from leadership Complete additional assigned duties as needed
