Job Description

Now hiring for the 2026 season! Must be located in Petoskey, Michigan or able to commute!!!!!! Get paid to be on the water this summer! Now hiring for the 2026 season! Job Description Join our team as one of our dock/deckhands and become a critical part of our team working on both our docks and aboard our motor vessels. Primary duties include, but are not limited to greeting guests, loading and unloading vessels, assisting with the boarding process, line handling, assuring a neat and tidy workspace both at the dock and on board, and also assisting with any possible guest issues both on land and while underway. Indoors/Outdoors This position often works outdoors in all types of weather. Part Time/Full Time/Seasonal Full Time, Seasonal (May 30 - October 30) or Full Time, Peak Season ( Early June - Late August) Skills Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in front of the public. Must be able to work independently and have amazing attention to detail, along with pride in the work that you do. Must also be comfortable working outside in all elements. Must be 18 years of age with a valid US driver's license. Physical Demands
  • Work with hands and fingers daily
  • Physically fit , agile and able to stand, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, sit, lay down, crawl, twist, reach, climb, walk the narrow gunnel while docking the vessel comfortably and safely Qualifications
  • Understanding or experience of the maritime industry
  • Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in front of the public.
  • Must be able to work independently and have amazing attention to detail, along with pride in the work that you do
  • Must also be comfortable working outside in all elements.
  • Able to serve alcohol legally.
