The Meteorological Intern participates and assists in daily operational tasks, including distributing incoming communication from customers, entering and quality controlling vessel data using proprietary software, drafting weather synopses, participating in team weather discussions, and contributing towards a department project. The intern also learns about marine meteorology and ship routing through independent tutorials and on the job training.Responsibilities:
Learning about shipping industry Learning about marine routing and forecasting Learning about internal systems and software Learning department standard operating procedures Participating/contributing towards daily operational tasks Participating/assisting in department projects Hands-on marine meteorology training Marine forecast discussions in team meetingsRequired Skills:
