Job Description

Job description Do you come from restaurants, bars, events, or other fast-paced service jobs—but wish your "side work" involved boats, tools, and fresh air instead of floors and fryers? Lake Union Hot Tub Boats is a small, family-owned business running wood-fired hot tub boat rentals year-round. We're looking for a Maintenance Crew Member who enjoys working with guests , setting things up the right way , and fixing problems before they become emergencies . This is a hands-on, customer-facing role —you'll prep boats, work with guests, reset between trips, and help keep our boats and dock running smoothly. What You'll Do Guest & Crew Work (Main Focus) Get boats ready for trips: cleaning, filling, heating, safety checks Welcome guests and walk them through how everything works Deliver clear, friendly safety briefings Reset boats between trips (like a fast turn on a busy shift) Restock supplies: firewood, propane, water, towels Keep the dock organized, safe, and moving during busy times Hands-On Maintenance (Built Into the Day) Fix small issues as they come up (loose parts, minor equipment problems, general wear and tear) Help spot problems early and flag bigger fixes Assist with basic upkeep of boats, dock areas, and equipment Support maintenance projects and hauling boats when trained Preventive maintenance on boats
