Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Potable Water Delivery Driver to provide drinking water deliveries to residential customers, coffee shops, restaurants, offices, and commercial businesses throughout the Anchorage area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to solve problems independently while operating in Alaska's unique weather and road conditions. Key Responsibilities Safely operate water delivery vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver potable water to homes, coffee shops, restaurants, offices, and commercial customers on scheduled routes. Load, transport, and unload water while maintaining sanitary handling practices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation. Monitor vehicle performance and identify potential mechanical issues before they become major problems. Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking fluid levels, tire pressures, lights, hoses, pumps, and fittings. Troubleshoot delivery equipment, pumps, hoses, and dispensing systems as needed. Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in delivery vehicles, tanks, and equipment. Communicate professionally with customers and address service concerns promptly. Manage route schedules efficiently while adapting to changing customer needs and weather conditions. Accurately complete delivery records, invoices, and daily logs. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate medium-duty commercial vehicles. Strong commitment to safe driving practices and workplace safety. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify and address minor vehicle or equipment issues. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to navigate Anchorage-area roads and varying weather conditions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery driving, transportation, or route service experience. Experience operating pumps, hoses, tanks, or fluid transfer equipment. Knowledge of potable water handling and sanitation practices. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Climb in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times per day. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow, ice, rain, and cold temperatures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
