Responsibilities Safely operate a non-CDL 26-foot box truck along designated local routes to deliver products efficiently to commercial or residential customers Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring all items are handled carefully and securely Verify delivery orders against shipment manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations Use schematics, electrical diagrams, or mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment or appliances during field service visits Assist in assembly or installation of delivered equipment when necessary, including refrigeration units or HVAC components Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on customer service excellence Mechanical knowledge including appliance repair, equipment repair, and electrical experience to handle minor troubleshooting on-site Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to refrigeration, HVAC systems, or electrical components Familiarity with box trucks and field service operations involving appliance or equipment installation and repair Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Basic understanding of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, and electrical wiring is preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday This role offers an engaging work environment where your skills make an immediate impact.
