Delivery Route Driver

```Job Summary``` We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations using a company vehicle. This position requires excellent driving skills, the ability to handle heavy loads, and strong communication skills. ```Duties```

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck, van, or tractor-trailer to deliver goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads 50lbs)
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and warehouse staff effectively
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and routes
