In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining uniform policies, installing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances primarily handle the heavy lifting—delivering large items like major appliances, patio furniture, and bulky building materials directly to homes and job sites . Your expertise will ensure that each appliance is set up correctly, functioning efficiently, and meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work independently in the field, delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities Safely transport appliances to customer sites using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring secure handling during transit Install various appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and funiture units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics Conduct thorough inspections of appliances for proper operation, troubleshooting issues related to electrical systems, refrigeration, or mechanical components Assemble appliances and related equipment accurately, following detailed instructions and technical diagrams Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances in the field, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to resolve issues efficiently Communicate clearly with customers about installation procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience Complete detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and parts used, ensuring accurate records for future reference Skills Strong appliance repair skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for installation and repair processes Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and ensure customer satisfaction Delivery driver experience with familiarity operating box trucks or similar vehicles safely and efficiently Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for installing climate control appliances Field service experience demonstrating independence, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in various environments Electrical experience necessary for diagnosing wiring issues and ensuring safe installations
