Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a FedEx Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering packages efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery routes efficiently, planning the best paths to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Interact courteously with customers during deliveries, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each shipment. Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including moving packages and organizing inventory for smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving heavy lifting. Must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus. Must be able to pass an extensive background check and a drug screen, as well as pass a DOT physical. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with warehouse procedures such as load & unload processes and moving items efficiently.
