Job Description

Two Roles, One mission: Get Good Food to Tucson Kids. If sitting still all day isn't your thing, this one's for you. You'll help make meals in our Tucson kitchen, then hit the road to deliver and serve them at local schools. Every stop is a group of kids who get to eat because you showed up, and no two parts of your day look the same. It's part-time, daytime, with your nights and weekends free, and a real shot to grow with a team that's fighting food insecurity one meal at a time. If you like variety and want your work to matter, let's talk.
Before You Apply:
What to Expect We're upfront so the right people apply and stick around: Part-time hours: 15-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically falls between 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This is a dual role:
you'll switch between kitchen prep and driving delivery routes in the same shift. You must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record, and you need reliable transportation to get to work on time. You'll be on your feet and on the road; expect to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, cold, and outdoor conditions. This is a school-year role, so hours can drop or pause during school breaks. Full-time may open up based on company needs and performance. Is this the right fit? You'll thrive here if you like variety, can move comfortably between kitchen and driving tasks, are safety-minded, and are reliably on time. What You'll Do Prepare and package hot and cold meals, including allergy-sensitive meals. Load routes and deliver meals to assigned schools, verifying quantities. Drive safely following company vehicle policies and traffic laws. Complete delivery and food temperature/time logs accurately. Keep the kitchen, vehicles, and service areas clean and sanitary. Communicate professionally with school staff and kitchen leadership. What We're Looking For 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record. Food Handler's Card, or able to obtain within 5 days of hire. Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ DPS), required for school-site access. At least 6 months each of kitchen/food-service, customer-service, and professional driving experience. Reliable transportation and comfortable with an early start (~6:00 AM). Safety-minded, organized, and able to switch between tasks. Spanish bilingual is a plus. Why Join Nutrition One? Meaningful work supporting students and communities. Cross-training in kitchen, logistics, and service operations. Growth opportunities within a mission-driven organization. Supportive team environment built on our core values. If variety and purpose sound like your speed, hit Apply. We'd love to have you with us.
