Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles following all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving. Plan and navigate efficient delivery routes using organizational skills and route optimization techniques. Load and unload merchandise, often requiring forklift and heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure for transit. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and pricing information to ensure smooth operations. Conduct merchandising activities at delivery sites to ensure proper product placement and presentation. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Excellent communication skills for interacting confidently with customers and team members. Familiarity with route driving technology or GPS systems to optimize delivery efficiency. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
