Position Summary:
As a Delivery Driver at High Seas, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our store to customers in a safe and timely manner. Your role involves ensuring the accuracy of delivery documents, maintaining the vehicle in top condition, and providing excellent customer service. You will become an integral part of a company that values teamwork and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
Dropping off goods as per delivery routes and schedules. Ensure timely delivery of goods, adhering to company timelines and schedules. Maintain delivery logs and records of cargo, including delivery conditions and any discrepancies. Inspect and clean the vehicle regularly, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly. Follow the best transportation practices and road safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries and feedback professionally.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines. Familiarity with GPS devices and other navigation tools. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Performance Metrics:
On-Time Delivery Rate (OTDR): Target of 98% deliveries completed on time.
Customer Satisfaction Score:
Maintain an average score of 4.8 out of 5 in customer feedback.
Vehicle Maintenance Compliance:
