Catering Delivery & Event Service Associate (Part-Time) Afghan Kabob House - 3.5 Downey, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Catering In-person customer service Driver's License Package delivery Delivery driving Guest services Event customer service Full Job Description Catering Delivery & Event Service Associate (Part-Time) Afghan Kabob House is seeking a dependable, professional, and hardworking team member to assist with catering deliveries, event setup, buffet service, and event breakdown.
Responsibilities:
Deliver catering orders, equipment, and supplies to event locations Load and unload catering equipment safely and efficiently Set up buffet stations, including chafing dishes, serving utensils, plates, napkins, and other catering supplies Ensure catering displays are clean, organized, and professionally presented Serve food to guests during catered events when requested Monitor buffet stations and assist guests throughout the event Provide excellent customer service and represent Afghan Kabob House professionally Break down catering setups after events are completed Collect chafing dishes, serving utensils, trays, beverage dispensers, and other catering equipment after the event Return all catering equipment and supplies to the restaurant in an organized manner Assist with cleaning and organizing catering equipment and storage areas Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry catering equipment and supplies Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Ability to work weekends, evenings, and special events as needed Catering, restaurant, or event experience is a plus but not required We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in providing excellent service at catering events.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
