Parts Courier Job Function & Purpose:
Exceptional after Sales Support. Fulfill customer needs by transporting parts and accessories offered by our Dealership to our other branch locations in a timely manner. To represent and promote the Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental Department operations and store network in a positive manner, which insures customer confidence, repeat business, and maximum return for the Dealership. Qualifications Computers and Systems — Knowledge and skill with computers, software systems, email, internal communication systems. You report directly to the Parts Manager. You have a functional relationship with the Service Manager, Parts, Sales, and Administrative Staff and all Branch Managers of the locations you serve.Responsibility:
As a Parts Courier for Garton Tractor, you are responsible for safe driving practices; accuracy of orders pulled; polite, responsive customer service; assisting other parts staff as required; increasing parts sales; assist in stocking and organizing the department; a strong work ethic that is reflective of the Parts Team.Principal & Essential Duties:
The principle & essential duties of the (insert job title) consist of, but are not limited to the following. Keep a friendly and positive attitude . Be the best at name retention, phone skills, greeting, and establishing rapport with customers. Fill branch/customer orders from stock or special order to be delivered. Prepare transfer paperwork. Mark and store parts in stock areas according to Garton Tractor's systems. Keep parts bins, showroom displays organized and clean. Communicate with persons outside the Company — Communicate positively with people outside the organization, representing the Company to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail. Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Communicate parts information, processes, and efficiencies with Supervisors, Peers, and other employees. Provide this information to supervisors by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Most issues that arise are from lack of communication. Making Decisions and Solving Problems — analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job. Factory training may be required as noted by your Manager. Any other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.Standards and Measurement of Performance:
You will meet or exceed your expectations when the following happens: Meeting skill sets per job classification Parts and System knowledge; ability to look up and supply parts accurately Company Vehicle and Department cleanliness New ideas, knowledge, or processes are presented to the Parts Manager Attend meetings and special events as required by position Work with and promote the Service and Sales Departments; excellence in team member working relationships.
