Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused High-End Residential Furniture Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company in luxury homes, executing the final, most critical phase of our design projects. You will handle careful delivery with safe, efficient, and damage-free transport of furniture products directly to customer locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct a visual inspection of the delivery vehicle daily before departing. Complete a comprehensive check-off list for all scheduled delivery items. Secure and strap down furniture items to prevent transit damage. Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs of the delivery vehicle. Load and unload heavy furniture items using proper lifting techniques. Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet strict time windows. Transport furniture into customer homes or businesses carefully without scratching walls. Partner closely with a delivery assistant to lift oversized items. Provide clear updates to dispatch regarding delays or successful drop-offs. Explain product features or return policies to customers clearly. Resolve delivery discrepancies on-site using professional communication skills.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of proven professional driving experience. Prior experience handling, lifting, and moving heavy furniture pieces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Bilingual-Spanish The number of hours per week varies depending on the daily needs of our clients. Working overtime hours, on holidays and weekends are also possibilities. The annual range for this role is from $25-30. However, specific compensation for the role will vary within the above range based on many factors including but not limited to geographic location, candidate experience, applicable certifications, and skills.
