Key Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Load and unload goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement of items. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules. Execute deliveries according to schedule, delivering goods accurately and promptly to assigned locations. Provide courteous and professional service to customers upon delivery, handling inquiries, and concerns in a friendly manner. Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, mileage logs, and any relevant paperwork. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly. Maintain open communication with dispatchers and supervisors, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including vehicle weight limits, driver hours-of-service regulations, and licensing requirements. Familiarize yourself with the products being delivered, including handling instructions and special requirements. Essential skills include:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent aptitude and critical thinking experience. Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, or similar functional software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
