About the Role We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and safe transport of goods, directly contributing to our reputation for exceptional service and customer satisfaction. You will be the face of our company, providing essential support to our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Verify accuracy of deliveries, obtaining necessary signatures and documentation upon delivery Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs promptly Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points Load and unload goods with care, utilizing appropriate equipment when necessary Required Qualifications Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted Proven experience navigating delivery routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a professional delivery or courier role Knowledge of local geographic areas and optimal routing strategies Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle checks
