Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes Load and unload shipments using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques Ensure accurate delivery by verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a secure driving record Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery productivity while adhering to scheduled timelines Experience Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred, with proven route driving skills Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and inventory handling Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles with manual transmission Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving packages, and equipment use like forklifts or pallet jacks Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Valid driver's license suitable for operating heavy vehicles; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required for all roles Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift and work in various weather conditions Must be able to pass drug test and physical.
