Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, answer questions, and provide excellent service Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, invoices, and route logs Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent required; clean driving record essential Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation tools such as GPS systems Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and transaction processing Experience in customer service or sales roles preferred; ability to upsell is a plus Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing Organizational skills for managing deliveries efficiently and maintaining accurate documentation Military experience in logistics or driving roles is advantageous but not required
