MODESTO, Parts drivers must also check invoices to ensure that the parts were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer. Parts Drivers must account for cash on COD orders and maintain an accurate delivery log. The Parts Driver must communicate with members of the Parts & Service Departments, vendors, and customers. The Parts Driver will also be required to lift boxes and stock parts throughout the day as needed.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record Ability to drive in a busy & fast paced environment while obeying speed limit laws Must possess excellent customer service skills Must be on time & reliable Lifting, pulling & grabbing 25 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Verifies that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pick-up Maintains a professional appearance of the Parts Dept Load trucks in such a way to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts Check payments received against the invoices for each delivery Handle cash transactions, charge transactions and core/parts returns. Unload truck at end of each shift & turn in all paperwork and undelivered or returned parts. Help basic maintenance of the delivery truck including filling with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed. Help with stocking shelves in Parts Dept when parts arrive Assist in keeping Parts Dept and parts area clean. Other duties as assigned.

Shift:

Monday thru Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
