This role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport industrial parts, ensuring all loads are secured, and maintaining clear communication with our shop team and customers. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver customer parts in a timely manner. Load and unload items using forklifts, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures Assist in the shop by supporting production activities, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean work environment Verify delivery orders, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures from customers upon receipt Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery timeliness while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate proactively with the team regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transportation Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar logistics role with route driving expertise Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, inventory management, and moving heavy items Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission proficiency Familiarity with forklift operation, and other material handling equipment Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving materials, and standing and sitting for extended periods Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience driving drivers or similar is preferred Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse environments We're dedicated to fostering a positive work environment where your skills grow alongside our company's success.
