Position Summary The Medical Equipment Delivery Technician is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, installation, and setup of medical equipment at healthcare facilities. This role includes handling mobile imaging equipment, Rb‑82 Infusion Systems, and associated computer workstations. The position directly supports patient care by ensuring equipment is delivered, installed, and operational according to regulatory and safety standards at hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other healthcare institutions. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle and equipment inspections Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper handling and safety procedures Install and set up equipment onsite, including: Following clean technique when required (training provided) Connecting and configuring basic computer hardware and software Conducting functionality and site‑readiness checks to ensure equipment is in "ready‑to‑scan" mode when required Comply with DOT, NRC, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations, including proper documentation (BOL, van surveys, wipe surveys; training provided) Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation and required records in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, equipment, hub locations, and customer facilities Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance (fluids, fuel, oil, etc.) Maintain facility security and follow after‑hours access protocols when applicable Immediately report equipment, vehicle, or facility issues or damage to leadership Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Provide courteous, empathetic customer service to support customer satisfaction Work flexible schedules, including long routes, overnight travel, and schedule changes Maintain a clean driving record and adherence to company safety standards Work independently and assist with training or instructing coworkers as needed ✅ Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with a safe driving record (no serious incidents within the past two years) Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules Willingness to drive long distances, work overnight hours, and travel 1-4 nights per week Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform moderate physical labor Basic computer setup and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of Class II driving experience HAZMAT training related to radioactive materials Experience with medical equipment transport, loading, or maintenance ️ Working Conditions Requires manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, and fine motor skills Moderate physical exertion, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching Equipment may weigh up to 1,000 lbs.
