Position Summary The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of automotive parts between Toyota of Orange, customers, vendors, and other dealership locations. This role supports Parts Department operations by ensuring efficient transportation of parts while maintaining professional relationships with customers and business partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate dealership vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies. Maintain a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record at all times. Promptly report any traffic citations, accidents, license suspensions, or changes affecting driving eligibility. Deliver and pick up automotive parts accurately and efficiently. Verify deliveries and pickups for accuracy and completeness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and transportation activities. Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing incoming parts shipments. Communicate delivery status and transportation updates to Parts Department personnel and management. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and dealership staff. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient work environment. Keep assigned dealership vehicles clean and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately. Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory-related tasks as needed. Support Parts Counter and departmental operations when business needs require. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Automotive dealership parts experience preferred. Previous delivery driving, shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage delivery routes. Ability to lift and move parts weighing 50 pounds or more. Willingness to learn Parts Department operations and assist in various department functions. Must have open availability and flexibility to support business needs. Authorized to work in the United States. Requirements Valid California Driver's License. Clean DMV driving record and ability to remain insurable under the dealership's insurance policy. Commitment to maintaining a safe driving record and professional driving habits. Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including: Background Check Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review Drug Screening Credit Report (where applicable) Why Toyota of Orange?
