Job Description
FedEx Delivery Driver Join our team as a FedEx delivery driver and become the face of the company in the community. We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals with a positive attitude who enjoy working independently and providing great customer service. Driver needed for local FedEx Ground routes owned by local ISP (independent service provider). Must be 21 years old, have a valid CA driver's license and driving record must be clean and free of felony convictions, DUIs or any other major violations. Applicants must be able to load, lift, move and deliver approximately 100-200 packages daily by themselves, with each day lasting from 8-10 hours long on average. Packages can and do weigh up to 150 lbs. each. The terminal is in Redding and would be where you would start and end each day. All applicants must be able to pass an initial drug screening, with random drug screenings required throughout employment. A DOT physical will also be required. Both the drug test and physical are paid for and require no out of pocket expenses from any applicants. Please email a copy of your resume by responding to this ad, if you are interested. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour during the initial 90-day probationary period with a raise up to $20 per hour after 3 months worked, with yearly raises thereafter. Responsibilities
- Safely drive larger delivery vehicles
