Job Description
We're a growing Sacramento-based metal manufacturer looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our day-shift team. You'll be home every evening, work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, and play a key role getting products safely to our customers. What you'll do Drive a 24 ft. stake bed truck to make local deliveries and occasional supplier pickups Load and unload materials; wrap, pack, or palletize parts as needed Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and follow all safety procedures Verify delivery paperwork and ensure manifests are complete and accurate Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop Maintain basic delivery and shipping records according to company procedures Minimum qualifications At least 21 years of age Valid Class C driver's license Clean DMV record Able to pass a pre-employment drug test Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly Education and experience High school diploma or GED 0-2 years of experience Preferred qualifications Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with air brake-equipped trucks preferred Knowledge of Sacramento, Bay Area, and Chico regions It is our policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all persons without regard to their race, age, color, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, handicap, military service record, religion, national origin, or lawful political affiliation, and to promote the full realization of equal employment opportunity.
