Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be a vital link between our warehouse operations and our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your driving skills with hands-on warehouse experience, all while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products using equipment like pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Pick-up and deliver goods to jobsites efficiently along designated routes, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, obtaining signatures, and maintaining detailed delivery records. Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Support the team with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as needed to facilitate smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and safety. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, and similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of goods safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is desirable; must be comfortable with load & unload procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning. Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous for understanding inventory handling.
