PeaceOfMindDesigns.com. We are growing fast and need assistance to support our home staging business in the north coast San Diego area. Come help us sell luxury homes by making them look beautiful. We are looking for a Part-Time Logistics Driver/Mover. You will be required to drive both our box trucks, and work with our design team to stage homes, load/unload furniture, and place furniture in homes for our staging projects in support of our stagers/designers and professional movers.

Duties Include:

• Must have experience driving 16 Ft. FORD E350 and 26 Ft. HINO Diesel box trucks.
• Must be very familiar with proper loading/unloading a 16 and 26 ft. box truck with attention to minimizing damage and breakage.
• Must know proper lifting techniques to avoid injury and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on flat ground and up/down stairs.
• Must be in good physical condition. Must be able to be on feet for most of the day and be able to climb a 15 ft. ladder to access furniture in our warehouse.
• Must have reliable transportation, car insurance and a valid California driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate with customers and our staff in a professional manner.
• Must be able to follow sometimes complex daily itineraries and verbal directions from our staff.
• Must be able to handle driving to multiple pick ups in one day.

Must be prompt to the job site and able to find job addresses easily using GPS on a smart phone.

Other Job Requirements Include:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a professional mover.
• Must have a smart phone with unlimited text plan and be able to efficiently use Google Maps or similar, Google Drive, our StageForce Inventory App, Workforce and other apps needed on a smart phone.
• Owning a SUV or Pick up with trailer hitch and experience driving a 10 ft trailer is a plus. Having general handyman/repair experience is also a plus.
• You'll be trained to hang art for the staging job, and you'll need to patch/paint minor holes after the stage. Pay rate is $22.00
• $25.

00 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours:

Part-Time 20 to 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri, and occasional weekend days. Hours depend on workload and seasonality.
