Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Agriculture Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting liquid fertilizer to various ranches, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving background, hold a current , non-restricted California Driver's License (Class A) with all endorsements (Air brake, Tanker, and Haz
  • Mat endorsement).
and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. This position offers an opportunity to supporting local agricultural communities. Key Responsibilities Safely load and deliver products to customers Complete all necessary paperwork for each delivery, (i.e.) weigh ticket, manifest, delivery ticket Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip truck and equipment inspections Perform routine daily maintenance and cleaning of delivery truck and equipment Enter all deliveries on daily log Keep liquid fertilizer yard clean (storage area, loading pad, tanks, etc.) Assist with maintenance, repairs and installation of liquid fertilizer equipment in the yard and at customer sites. Assist with loading and unloading of liquid fertilizer Work assigned Saturdays Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High School diploma or equivalent GED completion. Six to Twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education preferably in Agricultural setting Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Current, non-restricted California Driver's License (Class A) with all endorsements (Air brake, Tanker, and Haz
  • Mat endorsement). Language Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers, supervisors and employees. Bilingual (Spanish), preferred Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form. Safety and Security
  • Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures, and use equipment and materials properly.

Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
