Job Description
FedEx Ground Contractor has immediate Delivery Driver positions open based out of Alamosa, Colorado! We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to our customers in Alamosa and the surrounding San Luis Valley. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules throughout Alamosa and the San Luis Valley
- Ensure packages are delivered accurately and in excellent condition
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain delivery logs and records
- Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with the Alamosa and San Luis Valley area is a plus
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not required
PAY & BENEFITS
Weekly Pay- Starting at $20.00
- $22.00 Per Hour (depending on experience) Full-time and part-time positions available Paid Sick Time Off
- Begin accruing from start of employment Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance available All applicants must: Be over the age of 21 Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record, Be able to pass a background check Be able to pass a physical examination Be able to pass a drug screen (up to and including marijuana as per federal DOT regulations; no medical exceptions).
