Our team of Delivery Associates (DAs) plays a critical role in ensuring a high-quality delivery experience. We are looking for motivated, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals to join our growing team. As a Delivery Driver, you are determined to successfully get every package to the customer's door. You'll drive a safe and comfortable vehicle while using the latest technology to locate and deliver packages. Job Summary- As a Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering Amazon packages to homes and businesses while providing exceptional customer service. You will operate a company-provided vehicle, follow pre-determined delivery routes, and ensure safe, timely and accurate package deliveries. 4 Day Schedule- 40 Hours - 8-10 hours typical shift. Compensation Competitive hourly starting pay $21.75 per hour with potential for immediate opportunities for advancement based on performance. • Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (test does not include THC)
• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages to customers.
• Follow assigned routes using a mobile navigation system to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Deliver up to 250+ packages per day, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
• Load and organize packages efficiently in the vehicle before departure.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies to prevent accidents or delays.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle package concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean and serviced vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to SYDCO Logistics LLC
• Familiarity with using GPS navigation and route optimization tools.
• Use a handheld device for scanning packages, tracking deliveries, and communicating with dispatch.
• Adapt to various weather conditions and delivery challenges while maintaining efficiency.
• Able to climb multiple flights of stairs during shift.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods and getting in and out of a vehicle frequently.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in delivery, customer service, or a fast-paced work environment preferred but not required.
