Truck Driver CDL A - (Part-Time)

Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in Commerce City, CO. This part-time position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes. No loading/unloading and no deliveries! Drivers will conduct pre-trip safety inspection as required. Then you will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces. The driver will be electronically document findings in a very clear and concise manner.

Pay rate:

$32 per hour.

Shift Hours:

2-3 days/week, Monday - Sunday 2nd

Shift:

5pm - 3am

Requirements:

Must have a valid CDL A and DOT Card for at least 3 years Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years. No DUIs or DWIs within the last 10 years Must have manual transmission experience At least 3 years tractor trailer experience to include mountain driving experience At least 1 year of OTR experience Ability to travel periodically to perform over the road testing and vehicle transfers Ability to drive in adverse extreme weather conditions, including harsh winter conditions Must be flexible and available to travel as required or requested by the customer Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing Able to contribute in a team environment Must pass pre-employment drug and background screens Must be tech savvy; operate a smartphone, tablet, laptop

Desired Skills:

Experience in driving mountain roads in all weather conditions Capability to perform the essential functions of this position without accommodations
