We're looking for a part-time Dessert Truck Operator & Catering Lead to run catering and vending events throughout the DC metro area. This is a hands-on food truck operator position. You'll be responsible for driving and operating one of our dessert trucks, serving customers at events, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day truck operations. About the Role As a Dessert Truck Operator & Catering Lead, you'll manage mobile catering events from start to finish. You'll operate the truck, prepare and serve desserts, maintain inventory, and create a great customer experience at every stop. Key Responsibilities Drive and operate our dessert trucks at events throughout the DC metro area Set up, operate, and close down the truck for service Prepare and serve cookies, ice cream, and drinks while maintaining quality standards Deliver friendly, efficient customer service in fast-paced environments Track and restock inventory, supplies, and product levels Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Use POS systems, scheduling tools, GPS navigation, and communication platforms effectively Work independently while staying closely connected with the operations and events teams What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Comfortable driving larger vehicles in city environments Customer-focused and personable Organized and able to multitask under pressure Comfortable working independently Willing to jump in wherever needed Food service, catering, hospitality, or food truck experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
