Customer Delivery Driver Employment Type:
Full-Time Location:
New Castle, DE (On-site) The Customer Delivery Driver plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by transporting tires, wheel and tire packages, and accessories directly to customers from Tire Rack Mobile Installation locations. This position is responsible for safely operating a delivery van, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing outstanding customer service during every interaction. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety while representing Tire Rack in the field.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Ford Transit delivery van to transport products to customer locations Work with warehouse associates to load, inventory, and organize products for daily deliveries Deliver tires, wheels, wheel and tire packages, and accessories accurately and on schedule Drive defensively and follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and functional delivery vehicle, including basic preventive maintenance checks Return undeliverable products to the warehouse and assist with inventory reconciliation as needed Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, managers, customer care associates, and customers Provide outstanding customer service during every delivery interaction Work independently while maintaining accountability for assigned routes and deliveries Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check DOT qualified or ability to obtain DOT qualification High School Diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively Willingness to learn basic tire installation, mounting, and balancing procedures Authorized to work in the
United States Hours:
Minimum 40-hour work week; Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as necessary Additional hours may be necessary
