Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups at multiple locations throughout your shift Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about products or services, and provide outstanding customer service experiences Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise handling as needed to load and unload deliveries securely Utilize organizational skills to plan optimal routes, track deliveries, and maintain accurate delivery logs Engage in upselling by informing customers about additional products or services that meet their needs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during shifts Qualifications Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred; familiarity with GPS systems and route planning tools is a plus Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and transaction processing Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes Demonstrated organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and route planning Previous experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous; military experience related to logistics or driving is a plus Knowledge of merchandising practices to ensure proper product presentation during deliveries Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills meet exceptional customer service!
