Delivery Driver

Description Class E CDL Driver This position will work within the Shipping Department. This candidate will be responsible for transporting material to and from Sunrise, FL and will allow you to be home every night. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. DESCRIPTION

Drive to deliver and pick up loads of goods, materials, and paper stock, acting as agent for the Company. Maintains, cleans, inspects, and operates the Company truck. Performs or assists with other duties/projects as assigned within the shipping/receiving function. Requirements Class E CDL license with DOT Physical Certification Clean driving record High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use and operate a forklift/pallet jack Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Flexibility with positive, team-driven attitude and excellent attendance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
