PART TIME Class A Driver - Flatbed Experience Required

We are looking for experienced flatbed truck drivers to serve our steel industry clients safely and timely.

YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE MANUAL

• Responsibilities 1 Year's Flatbed Experience, and must have experience strapping/tarping. No Accidents, No Points, No unlawful speeding, No careless Driving in the last 5 years. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (last 5 years). Drive a manual and Automatic truck. Must have a Florida CDL Drivers License. Must have a current DOT physical card. Must be registered for the clearing House. Transport finished goods and raw materials from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers within the state of Florida. Pre/Post trip Inspection on vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Knowledge of daily electronic log system. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. The ability to Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents, or violations to your supervisor daily. Moffett experience a plus and Hazmat a plus also. Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Drive a manual truck (Must be verifiable for the last 3 years). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, etc.) Hours will vary depending on the company. Monday-Friday Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Valid CDL Class A license "Drug Free Florida compliant employer"
