Job Description
Join our dynamic team at KPX Logistics as a FedEx Delivery Driver, where you will be the vital link connecting customers with their packages through efficient, safe, and friendly delivery services. As a delivery driver, you will navigate your route with precision, provide fantastic customer service to our clients ( Residents & Businesses) ensuring timely deliveries and pick-ups while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Your role is essential in maintaining our reputation for reliability and outstanding service, making every day rewarding and full of momentum. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles designated for delivery purposes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Follow established routes diligently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adhere to traffic laws at all times Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages courteously and professionally, addressing customer inquiries when appropriate Conduct thorough manual handling practices to lift, carry, and place packages of varying weights safely Maintain accurate delivery records, complete necessary documentation, and report any issues or delays promptly Experience Prior warehouse experience or experience in commercial driving environments preferred Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and load management Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles or box trucks is advantageous Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace is essential Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all aspects of delivery operations Strong customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities to ensure positive interactions with clients Qualifications Must be 21 Years or above. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to clear Pre-employment Background and Drug Screening. Prior experience with courier services is a plus. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Ability to lift packages up 150 Ibs bending, lifting, and manoeuvring in and out of delivery truck to Front door or access point of delivery address.
