Job Description
FedEx Ground Drivers M & D Belanger Inc. is looking for Route Drivers in Riverview and Gibsonton.
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to work weekends Saturday and Sundays, days off during the week.
- Age 21 and older
- Valid Florida drivers license (required to be a driver...helpers only need valid ID)
- Good, safe driving record (will be verified with DMV)
- Must clear criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug tests (both pre-employment as well as randoms once hired)
- Minimum combined 12 months commercial driving experience in last 3 years (or 5 years during past 10 years).
NOTE:
examples of commercial experience may include Uber, lawn service trailer towing, restaurant food deliveries, bread route and more. We may offer training for the ideal candidate with less than one year commercial driving experience, depending on circumstances- MUST pass DOT physical and obtain DOT medical card
- Lift up 10-50 lbs. regularly and up to 150 lbs. as needed
- Be able to learn and understand how to use a scanner
- Must be able to work as a team with other drivers.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Positive, upbeat interaction with customers and coworkers
- Loading packages onto vehicle
- Delivery and pickup of packages to/from customers
- Learn and safely navigate streets on route
