Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Truck Driver and be at the forefront of delivering exceptional culinary experiences on the go! In this energetic role, you will operate our mobile food unit with enthusiasm, ensuring timely and safe transportation of delicious meals to various locations. Your passion for food service, combined with excellent customer interaction skills, will help create memorable moments for our customers. This position offers a vibrant work environment where your driving skills and food industry knowledge come together to serve up great food and positive vibes. Responsibilities Safely operate and maneuver the food truck to designated locations, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payment handling, and sales tracking Provide friendly, attentive customer service, engaging with patrons and upselling menu items to enhance sales Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals Maintain cleanliness of the truck's interior and exterior, including food handling areas, bussing tables, and sanitation practices Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Experience Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred Culinary experience or background in the food industry is advantageous Strong time management skills to ensure timely delivery and service during busy periods Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and retail math to accurately process transactions Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and general kitchen experience is beneficial Prior restaurant experience or working in a café or grocery store setting will support your success in this role Embark on an exciting journey where your driving expertise meets your passion for great food!
