Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies Deliver products to commercial and retail customers in a timely manner Manage route schedules efficiently, ensuring all deliveries are completed within designated timeframes Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Engage with customers professionally, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and upselling when appropriate Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation of transactions Organize merchandise on delivery vehicles for optimal space utilization and ease of access Assist with merchandising efforts at customer locations to promote product visibility Load truck twice a week in Opelika al Skills Proven experience in commercial driving and route delivery operations Strong knowledge of local geography and route planning skills Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions Ability to perform math calculations accurately, including pricing and measurements Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor Upselling skills to promote additional products or services effectively Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Familiarity with merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation at client sites Demonstrate discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy driving, and are committed to delivering excellent service.
