Pickup and Delivery Driver Location:
Pooler, GA J.C.
Lewis Motor Company Position Overview:
Join Georgia s oldest continually owned and operated automobile dealership group: J.C. Lewis Motor Company. We ve proudly served Savannah and the surrounding communities since 1912 and are seeking a reliable Pickup and Delivery Driver who will be responsible for transporting customer vehicles to our service center and returning them upon completion of service. This also includes delivering loaner vehicles and conducting inspections during pick-up.
What You'll Do:
Ensure loaner vehicles are clean before leaving the dealership Speak/engage with customers to review loaner vehicle policies, conduct vehicle inspections, collect customer information, and review loaner agreements and loaner vehicle check-ins Make sure loaner vehicles are serviced regularly, when needed Work with service department managers on loaner vehicle availability Arrive to customers' homes in a timely manner to pick up their vehicle for service Return vehicles to customers in a timely manner and in excellent condition Other duties, as assigned
What We're Looking For:
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record At least 19 years of age Ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and drive in various weather conditions Attention to detail, efficient time management for tight schedules, a positive attitude, and great customer service skills Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
Driving for extended periods Loading and unloading equipment Climbing to access vehicles Bending and reaching inside vehicles
