This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while navigating local routes with efficiency and care. As a vital link in the delivery process, you'll ensure timely, safe, and professional deliveries that leave customers satisfied and eager to work with us again. ( install appliances/ setting up furniture) White Glove Delivery Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to complete daily delivery routes. Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care. Load deliveries onto your vehicle at the warehouse and unload at customer locations, managing heavy lifting with proper technique. Follow planned routes accurately, adjusting as needed to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards. Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service by answering questions and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports throughout your shift. Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with route driving in busy neighborhoods or urban areas. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions. Ability to lift heavy packages frequently and perform moving tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices for heavy vehicles such as drivers or courier trucks.
