Maintain accurate inventory control using inventory management systems and POS (Point of Sale) software to track stock levels and order fulfillment. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, retail math calculations, and operating cash registers with proper phone etiquette. Assist customers with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance questions, and automotive repair or service inquiries to ensure they receive comprehensive support. Organize stockroom areas by stocking shelves, managing inventory control, and ensuring all parts are properly labeled for quick retrieval. Coordinate delivery schedules, plan routes for timely parts delivery, and execute deliveries with excellent organizational skills while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that promote auto parts sales and enhance customer engagement through retail sales techniques. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred; familiarity with automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance is a plus. Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities) are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency in inventory management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Microsoft Excel, and POS software is essential. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels, order fulfillment processes, and maintain accurate records. Knowledge of retail math, automotive service procedures, dealership operations, and marketing strategies will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for delivery responsibilities; physical ability to lift heavy parts is also necessary.
