Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Lumber Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting lumber and building materials from our warehouse to various job sites and customers. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver lumber and building materials to designated locations Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper stacking and securement Verify delivery orders, inspect loads for accuracy, and document delivery details accurately Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Follow designated routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management, moving materials within the facility, and supporting team operations as needed Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a warehouse or construction supply environment Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of lumber and building materials regularly Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certifications preferred) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is a plus Familiarity with courier services, heavy lifting techniques, moving supplies, and warehouse safety standards Join us as a Lumber Delivery Driver to play a crucial role in delivering quality materials efficiently while providing exceptional service.
