- Transferring employees or former District employees hired into this role will be placed on the "D" letter grade of the Classified Salary Schedule, but the initial step placement will vary based on a variety of factors.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer, one year of successful experience in delivering materials and supplies.
- Ability to operate District delivery truck.
- Must have a valid Idaho driver's license; driving record must District pass insurance criteria;
- Ability to receive, load/unload, secure, deliver materials; install protective devices such as braces, padding or straps, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Ability to maintain and perform minor repairs on tools, vehicles and equipment in accordance with District policies and procedures;
- Ability to clean and maintain vehicles, supplies and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations;
- Ability to follow all established safety practices used in daily warehousing and delivery operations;
- Ability to lift, move and maneuver hand and power tools (hand trucks and forklifts)and equipment safely;
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and observe District policies and procedures;
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds or more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent is responsible to safely and properly load, deliver and unload materials for District kitchens and individual school needs; deliver specialized music or office equipment to schools; move, lift and deliver curriculum materials including textbooks; and ensure accurate and expedient delivery of material to schools and other facilities.
