Position Summary:

KHART Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. You will drive a company-provided van with capacity less than 10,000 pounds to transport, load, unload, and deliver packages to and from specified destinations. Interacts with customer at their home and business locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The delivery driver must be at least 21 to apply. Care for each company vehicle with respect and with the utmost safety and cleanliness in mind. Drive van from home station to designated customer Use hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with home office/dispatch and to track Load and unload ~300

• 350+ packages into/out of van, with or without reasonable accommodation/day.

Must be able to move boxes up to 70lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation. Inspect van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and Maintain contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems Maintain logs according to state and federal Secure packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer Follow all safety rules and company policies and Must be able to work in all weather conditions (Hot and cold temperatures).

Required Skills and Experience:

Customer Service

• is always professional with anyone at the customer location. Always Represents the company in a service-oriented and courteous manner. Is respectful and represents the company brand Driving and Delivery Experience
• previous driving and delivery experience preferred, but not required. We will train. Technology Oriented
• must be comfortable using mobile technology in a safe, efficient and accurate way. Safety and Security
• must adhere to all safety and security procedures. Determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, as required. Report potentially unsafe conditions immediately. Uses vehicle and all provided work material, Attendance/Punctuality and Timeliness
• is consistently at work for scheduled shift and is on time or early. Completes work in a timely manner and within the standards outlined by the Company. Three unexcused absences allowed per month.. Dependability
• follows instructions and responds to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions. Keeps commitments. Completes tasks on time or notifies supervisor, in advance, if a commitment is at risk. Quality
• Meets productivity and service standards.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College degree desired but not required.

Employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and drive a company-provided vehicle. Employee is requested to reach and lift with both hands and both arms. Employee is required to crouch, stoop and bend.

Work Environment :

Employee may be driving a vehicle in urban, suburban, and rural setting. Must be comfortable working alone and communicating with home office supervisor through provided mobile device.

Team Environment :

Employee is required to be a team player and assist other when necessary to help meet team goals.

Required Licenses:

Valid State Driver's License is Required.

Work Authorization Requirements:

United States Work Authorization is Required.
