Delivery Driver

Y-Yard Auto & Truck, Inc is an automotive recycling facility that sells quality, recycled, original parts to wholesale and retail customers. Our goal is to provide our customers the best experience one part at a time. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a valid, Class C driver's license. This position will work approximately four days a week, 6:30 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday with the day off varying.

Responsibilities:

Deliver parts and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner Follow established delivery routes and procedures Handle products with care and ensure they are delivered in good condition Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues or concerns Assist with picking up reusable cardboard and pallets Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Valid, Class C driver's license with a clean driving record DOT physical At least one year of experience in a delivery or customer service role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs Ability to be flexible with weekly schedule by working three days/week, Monday-Friday. Work days may vary from week to week.
