Delivery Driver Cox Machine, Inc. - 2.5 Wichita, KS Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Traffic condition navigation Navigation systems Full Job Description Delivery Driver The delivery driver is responsible for safely transporting parts from the business facility to customers and suppliers. The delivery driver provides excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery and accurate deliveries. Education and Experience Previous experience driving or delivering packages High school diploma or equivalent Required Skills/Abilities Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely Strong time management and organizational skills Familiarity with navigation tools and operating different types of equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized with attention to detail Ability to quickly transition or pivot based on business need Ability to work in varying weather conditions Duties/Responsibilities Pick up and deliver parts to assigned facilities, customers and suppliers following assigned routes and schedules Safely load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring that packages are handled carefully to prevent damage Plan and navigate efficient delivery routes, adjusting for traffic, weather or delivery changes Review orders before and after delivery to confirm accuracy, completeness and correct charges Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, handle complaints, and provide a positive company representation Performing basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, conducting pre and post trip inspections, reporting mechanical issues and maintaining vehicle cleanliness Maintain delivery records, obtain signatures, and manage paperwork on delivery transactions Always operating the vehicle in a safe manner Follow all federal, state and company guidelines regarding safe driving practices and obey all safety and traffic guidelines Communicating with internal and external customers to ensure timely deliveries.
