Medical Equipment Delivery Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of route navigation, and the ability to handle packages of varying sizes. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an advantage. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
