Position Overview Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky, is an internationally recognized leader in equine medicine, combining cutting-edge technology with a collaborative team dedicated to advancing equine health and performance.

Skills/Responsibilities Required :
The primary role and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Drive to Churchill Downs Racecourse and drop off lab results and collect blood samples from designated areas and bring back for processing at the Hagyard Laboratory. Drive to Shelbyville, Kentucky and drop of lab results and to collect blood samples for processing at the Hagyard Laboratory (3x per week). Run local errands as needed with occasional trips to Bluegrass Airport. Aid in delivery and pick up of various samples and paperwork to various labs throughout Lexington Maintain clean vehicle. Pick up/drop off company cars for routine maintenance. Pick up food as required for various meetings within the Practice. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or GED. Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must be willing and able to pass a complete criminal background check & Motor Vehicle check. Relevant customer service experience with effective communication skills. Must have ability to multi-task, have attention to detail, be reliable, and maintain professional appearance. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to climb, push, pull equipment and packages.
Schedule:
Part-Time, Monday through Saturday, approximately 9:30AM - 12:30PM We could be open to full-time if additional hours are needed We are also open to consider candidates that aren't open to 6 days At PetVet Care Centers, we're committed to a Culture of Care — for pets, for the people who love them, and for the team members who make it all possible.
